Local Body Notices. BOROUGH OF CAMBRIDGE. Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of the powers conferred in it by "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913," and its Amendments, the Cambridge Borough Council proposes to borrow by Way of Special Loans, sums, of Thirtyseven thousand nine hundred pounds (£37,900), and Thirteen thousand live hundred and thirty-five pounds (£13,535) for the following purposes: — 1. To purchase land foT a Catchment Area, to install sa Gravitation Water Supply, to extend and renew portions of the existing water reticulation of the Borough; awl to "purchase all plant necessary foT 'tlie above work — £37,900, 2. To lay tkrwn ?<oads in permanent material, to extend and amend the present permanent roads, ■ and to purchase all plant ncces- \ sary thereto-—£13,535. The said Loans will be for a peria.. of Thirty-six (3W) years with interest at a rate not exceeding Six (6) per centum per -annum, and provision fox ;a Sinking Fund <tff at least One (1) per centum jper :anmum. As security for the payment of the said Loans a»S the Interest and Sinking, Fund thereon, the Cambridge 3Jorough Council proposes to pledge and-ap-propriate Special Rates as follow-s:-On Proposal Numbered One (1) herein a rate of 2 l : 16d in the £, on the Unimproved Ratable Value of all Rentable property in vthe Borough of Cambridge; on Proposal "Numbered Two (2) herein, a rate of : sS'in the £ on the Unimproved Ratable Value of all Ratable property in the Borough of Cambridge. it is proposed to pay out of the Loans the tost and expenses in connection with the raising thereof, and the Interest &n<3 Sinking Fund for the first year.
