TOWN HALL PICTURES TO-NIGHT Mr Abel Rowe will make his last- appearance in Cambridge to-night, when he will give another of his "Communr ity Nights." Last night he made a splendid hit with his fine singing. The picture, "The Pace, in the Fog," with Lionel Barrymore in the lead, will be shown. No one can tell what became of either the late Czar of Russia's Crown Jewels, or his youngest and favourite daughter, the Grand Duchess Tatinana.- There is an ingenious theory on the subject; however; it 'is the theme of the Paramount picture, and cannot fail to interest you.

. In "My Friend, The Devil," the Fox special production which is to be shown on Friday next, a new type of entertainment will be brought forth upon the screen. It contains every element necessary for real entertainment —• a novel plot, a powerful theme, unexcelled dramatic sequence, superlative portrayal, romance, thrills and a motivethat will win the praise of every woman and child.

The photoplay is an adaptation from Georges Olimet's famous novel, "Dr Ramcau," and to Harry Millarde must go the credit, for another pictorial nvu&terpioeo. Mr Millarde directed "Over the Hill."' The entire picture of "My* Friend, the Devil," has been correctly mounted and the types and costumes seem to step right from the pages of Ohmet's novel. , CARD PARTY AND DANCE Regardless of the rough weather which prevailed last Thursday evening, a large number assembled at the Town Hall to enjoy the successful ; enchre party and dance held in connection with the Catholic Church. ' .• The supper tables looked beautifuldecorated with cream roses and pink cameiias, while the, supper -itself- catered to the most, fastidious of.-'appetites-. The lady's prize was'won by.
