Mr Allen Doone and his talented company will appear at the Town Hall to-morrow (Friday) evening, when they will produce the romantic play, ‘ ‘ Molly Bawn.” This piece has received an enthusiastic reception wherever produced. The bright human interest of the plot, the magnificent scenic effects and gorgeous costumes worn by the various members of tho company all help to make it one of tho best productions ever offered to ther Cambridge public. Mr Doone will bo heard in a number of new songs of his own composition, which have already become quite a rage in the Dominion, .Mr Doone is supported by Miss Edna Keeley, the clever and finished actress, who left such a favourable impression on the occasion of her last visit here. The other members of the company aro all well known and have reputations of a high degree. The plan is on view at Corigalton’s. TOWN HALL PICTURES SATURDAY NIGHT. In this new Sam Wood production,. “Her Gilded Cage,” Miss Gloria Swanson emerges, for a few episodes, from tho conventional fashion creations which have caused her to known as the fashion model of the screen, and appears in some pretty theatrical and dancing costumes, which accentuate her beauty and lend her » fascination nqt before revealed. The star displays exceptional talent as a dancer and entertainer. Tho settings and costumes, tho cast, and other attractive features are in keeping with the general colour and brilliance of this new picture. The picture is delig’htful entertainment for the average motion picture audience.
