RUGBY MATCHES

On Saturday next only junior Rugby matches will be played locally, the seniors being away at Morrinsville. At the Leamington grounds a thirdgrade match, High School v. Learnington, will be played; also two junior matches, Hautapu v. Mona vale and City v. Leamington. Teams as under: —

City Juniors. —Ivyte, Palmer, Kelly, Ingham, Ariell, Takerei, Tabb, Henley, Palmer, Poole, Crunch, Hagan (2), Edmonds, White, Phillips, Cow, McAsey, Collett.

Hautapu Juniors —To be picked from the following: Moyle (2), Gibbons, Hargreaves, Miller (2), Cowan, Wallace, Brinkworth, Chvnoweth, Noweombe, White, Floyd, Campbell, Andrews, Stone, Hodgson, Buckman, Simon, Harcroft and Cartmill. Cambridge seniors will journey to Morrinsville or. Saturday next, when, judging by their good showing last Saturday, they should give, a good account of themselves. The following have been selected to represent Cambridge:—

The Aberta British Rugby Football Union has written to the New Zealand Union, inviting a New Zealand team, when visiting England, to play a match in Canada. LEAGUE CODE MATCHES ON THE SQUARE On Saturday next two matches will be played on Victoria Square. Owing to a hitch in arrangements for a visiting team, we are unable to give the details of these matches, but in all probabilitv a Hamilton team will be here. Anyhow, those who attend at the Square can be assured of witnessing two fast, spectacular matches.
