The Farmers' Co-op. Auctioneering Co,, Ltd., Hamilton, report:— At Hamilton sale on Tuesday the yarding was a small one. Sheep continue to bring good competition; beef also sold readily, while pigs were on a par with recent sales, with perhaps stores bringing slightly better value. Extra heavy prime fat ewes made and forward lambs 21/0; fat cows to £4 .19/; killable cows £2 10/ to £2 14/; heavy baeoners £3 10/ to £3 IS/; medium weights £3 5/ to £3 10/; heavy porkers to light baeoners £2 15/ to £3 4/; light to modi«m porkers £1 15/ to £2 12/; slips 14/0 to IS/6. At Frnnkton yards on Tuesday, 29th Inst., we had a medium entry of cattle and sheep, and quote: —Fat cows £4 19/ to £5 1/; unfinished steers £5 .1/ to £5 7/0; 4-year forward bullocks ■M 10/ to £4 15/; 31-year steers in low condition £3 3/ to £3 5/; store cows £1 4/ to £1 5/; Shorthorn heifers in naif £4; yearling steers £] 0/ to £1 11/;-fat ewes £1 .13/9; store lambs 14/1.
Pigs.— A smaller entry than usual. Baeoners realised £3 3/ to £3 10/; fat porkers £1 .19/ to £2 10/.
