PERSONAL ITEMS.

Mr W. Goodfellow, managing director of the N.Z. Co-op. Dairy Co., Ltd., is at present visiting Wellington. Mr G. 11. Ollard, late of Cambridge, has been elected a member of the Tauranga Borough Council, being now a resident of that town.

Mr C. H. Priestley, Mayor-elect for Cambridge, left for Auckland yesterday morning on business. He will be back to-night or Monday. Mr W. G. Lange, brother of Mr C. P. Lauge, of Cambridge, was top of the poll for the election of the Mt. Eden Borough Council on Thursday. The Hon. D. H. Guthrie, Minister for Lands and Railways, who is resting in a Wellington private hospital, is state 1 to be improved in health. Mr Walter Stopford, of Cambridge, is spending the week-end in Auckland with his cousin, Commander the Hon. Guy Stopford, of H.M.S. Chatham, who has just returned from an Australian cruise.
