CRICKET
CAMBRIDGE V. FRANKTON A LOCAL WIN On Monday a match took place at Victoria Square between Cambridge and Frankton Railway, and resulted in a fairly comfortable win for Cambridge by 11.4 runs to S 3. In their first innings Cambridge made 7.1, Smales being top scorer with 18. Frankton then knocked up 44 in their first, innings, D. Hunwick, with 23, making top score. In the second innings Cambridge declared with 8 wickets for 43 runs, and Frankton made a total of 39 in their second innings.
The Cambridge team owes a great deal of its success to the excellent, bowling of Mr O. V. Simpson, who had the averages of 7 wickets .for 14 runs and 7 for (5.
