SHOCKING FATALITY
MAN KILLED AT FRANKTON A railway fatality occurred at Frankton Junction on .Saturday morn-, ing as the result of which a man named Albert Francis Cross, 56 years of age, and a resident of Hastings, where he was employed as a land agent, was terribly mutilated. Cross, who was accompanied by hi* wife and "daughter, was a passenger by the- 3.35 express. Although there was no actual eye-witness of the accident, it would appear that the unfortunate man went on to the platform as the train was entering the station. He • evidently fell on the rails and two of : y the cars passed over him before-the train stopped at'the station. The train- i< examiner, when engaged on his duties after the express had pulled up, was the first to come across the body, which < was terribly mutilated.
