The Hon. J. G. Coates (Minister for Public Works and. Postmaster-General) acompanied by Mr Markman* (Assis-tant-Secretary of the Post and Telegraph Department, Mr Godfrey (Assistant Under-Secretary Public Works Department, and Mr Coates' two secretaries (Mess-is Balncavis and Aitken) visited Cambridge last evening, arriving from Te. Aroha, via Horahora Works, by motor. The Minister met the citizens, last evening, when he discussed the telephone increases, and afterwards met deputations.. This morning he motored to Frankton, via Euakura and the Central Power Station, on his way to Auckland.
