THE FAMOUS DIGGERS
SATURDAY NIGHT.
The box plan for the Diggers is filling fast, and everything points to there being a big house on Saturday, when the show opens. There is no doubt about the popular'ty of the real girl show which The- Famous Diggers ’ management arc now presenting to their New Zealand audiences. When an advertisement was put in the paper for chorus girls, there were 178 applications from the North Island alone, and from these The Diggers picked six lovely ballet girls who are now known as “The S'uperb Six.” Already they have danced their way into popularity. Superbly dressed and sumptuously mounted, the show, with its ten beautiful girls, takes on quite a different aspect to that which it had when its warrior performers first returned ■ from France. It is of course a far more delectable show and the experience gained during the past three years has stood the management in good stead. The plan is at Congalton’s.
