BARNAEDO’S HOMES

TO-NIGHT'S ENTERTAINMENT Despite the ever-increasing number of good objects calling for our help, it would be a very great pity. to see such a worthy work as that of the Barnardo's Homes suffering from want of support. This is a magnificent work, deserving of assistance, even if it entails a little self-sacrifice on our part. Therefore, we hope and expect to see the Cambridge district people give their usual warm support to the annual effort on that behalf, to be held at the Cambridge Town Hall to-night, when the annual entertainment will be held. The programme to be presented is a most attractive one, co'mprising items by young people of tp.e town and outlying districts. A capital evening's entertainment is promised all who attend. Sweets will be sold iu the hall during the evening.
