SALE WITHOUT LICENSES LAND AGENTS FINED (By Telegraph—Press Association) HAMILTON, last night." At Hamilton S.M. Court to-day two land agents, A. M. Bisley and J. Gilbert, were fined respectively £5 and £3 _ costs for selling land without holding licenses. It was shown that Bisley had. merely forgotten to renew his license, while Gilbert showed that he had applied for a license. The magistrate said these cases would act as a warning to other land salesmen. It future offend--ers would be more severely dealt with.
