THE FRANKTON TOURNEY TWO CAMBRIDGE PLAYERS At the Franktou Croquet tournament last week Mrs M. P. McDermott and Mrs A. Hopkirk, from the Cambridge Club, participated. In the doubles Mrs McDermott and, Mrs McGregor won four games out of seven in their section. In the singles, Mrs McDermott won five games, and lost two by a few points, and Mrs Ilopkirk won five games out of six in the section, losing only by a few points to Mrs FrazerSmith, who won the section. The section winners in the singles were Mrs Frazer-Smith (Frankton), Mrs W. Dillicar (Hamilton), Mrs Higgins (Frankton), and Miss Murray (Rotorua). The' semi-finals were played off yesterday, as it was impossible to finish the tournament on Saturday on account of the wet weather.
