Bollard, M.P. presented the cup** to the winning owner. Mr T. H. Davey, stipendiary steward, was in attendance, but nothing occurr'ed to warrant his interference. The arrangements for the meeting were most satisfactory, and reflect great •credit upon the secretary, Mr A. J. Smith. The Hamilton Municipal Prize Band enlivened proceedings with a choice programme of music.
