Mr H. E. Young leaves to-day for Westport on a business visit. He will be absent from Cambridge for two weeks.

Madame Florry Eoscoc, the well known soprano vocalist, who is now a resident of the Waikato, was one of the soloists at Thursday night's concert of the Eoyal Auckland Choir. Patricia K. Newton, pupil of Miss Hanlin, of Cambridge, was among the successful .pupils in the Eoyal College of Music examinations at Hamilton last week, in the elementary pianoforte division.
