A very old resident of the W aikato, Mr John Wood, died .at the Waikato Hospital on. Friday, at the age of 85. Mr Wood, who was twice married, was well known in the Waikato in the earl} days, having keen a butcher in Hamilton fpr many years, and afterwards licensee of a hotel at Morrinsville.
