CALP REAPING TESTS Recent experiments carried out at Ruakura and Weraroa State Farms proved that calves can be reared to advantage without the use of either skim milk or whey, both of which are becoming very valuable for other purposes. The food recommended is a balanced ration of cereals—not just one by-product such as linseed meal.
