BAD MANNERS
Disgraceful conduct.
DISPLAYED AT CONCERT.
The disgraceful and silly behaviour of Jpvo or three men at the Lyric concept last night was the cause of a great deal of comment from the audience and the members of the concert-party. The sarcastic remarks of one of the singers that “the, villiage idiot might keejf quiet” had no effect and it was only the'prompt action of the hall which saved a scene. Forthe senseless ones were not Bfcfi-admitted after the interval. conduct of the Cambridge Town Hall audiences has always been above even suspicion, and indeed, under the control of the genial manager, Mr L. Morrin, the reputation for good behavioUs on the part of audiences has become a by-word. It was a surprise, therefore, that ill-mannered boors should give a display last night. A recurrence of this sort of think will he quie’dy suppressed, and in addition •* this paper will not hesitate to publish I the names of the disturbers so that public .opinion will back up the manjtfngemcnt.
