x CAMBRIDGE BRANCH,

A meeting of the above was held in the Council Chambers yesterday morning. There were present Messrs It. Fisher (chairman), W. White, (8. LeAvis. and U. .1. Brooks ,

Only one application for assistance had been received since last meeting, and this was granted.

The chairman mentioned that during the coming \ycek there would be several boys from Cambridge returning sick and wounded, and he suggested that the committeemen should look around and get a complete list of the names in order that they could be dealt Avith at their next meeting.
