Auckland Wool Sales
Farmers will be pleased to learn that satisfactory arrangements have been made for the shipment of the wool sold at the last Auckland sale. Two steamers are due to load this ween, and these with another loading on the 25th inst., will practically clear the balance of the wool sold.
The exceptional conditions under which the wool was sold has of necessity delayed payment to growers, but this has entailed no hardship or inconvenience to growers, for the brokers have, at all times, been willing to make liberal cash advances against the wool sold, though payment had not actually been received by them. When the shortage of tonnage is taken into account, it must be admitted that the wool grower in tne'Auckland Province has cause for congratulation in obtaining such early despatch of his wool.
Unless some unforseen delay occurs the Auckland Wool Brokers anticipate that all account sales and cheques will be forwarded to their clients not later than the end of the present w r eek.
