Empire Rifle Club.
NEW ZEALAND’S TEAM. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington Monday. The General Officer Commanding has notified Colonel Collins that he approves of the following team to represent New Zealand in the Empire rifle match to take place in Melbourne next November:—Lieutenant H. Simmons, Rieflman J. Milroy, Corporal Bent, Riflemen D. Mclntosh J. i Given, and.J. Cheeseman (the highest aggregate scorers in final fifty before the Belt was fired for), and Rifleman P. James, Corporal F. Cbing, Rifleman J. Patrick, and Private L. Loveday (se-, lected by the committee). The team will leave early in October, and take part in the New South Wales Rifle meeting. The team will probably be in charge of Captain Doul, of Dunedin.
