Marvellous Escape.

THROWN OFF EXPRESS. By 'letograpn.—Press Association. Wanganui, Friday. A lad named Wilson, who was coming down to Wanganui from Cambridge on the Auckland txpross, was jerked from the platform of the train at Korewa, near Marton, yesterday. He was not missed by those on the train. He fell heavily on. his head and hands, but walked some distance to a house, where he collapsed and became unconscious. Medical aid was sought and the lad was subsequently brought to the Wanganui Hospital. No bones were broken- The sufferer is progressing favourably.
