Motor Traffic.

TVso question of motor traffic on countv roads has been discussed in pwt : cilly every centre in the Dominion from time to time, and during, the Hon. Mr, Kerries’ visit v-cek to. the headquarters of his electorate, the county chairman said that certain roads had to be widened and improved owing to the heavily increased motor traffic. Complaints were also continuously made t>f ,the disregard made by certain motorists for other classes of traffic, and the former were driving the country traffic off the country roads. A heavier penalty , against offenders was advisable, and motor cars should pay a special lax. He would like to see the Government take the matter in hand and frame regulations to govern the motor traffic.
