Greenslade, M.H.R.:— “ Dear Sir, —I have to thank you for your kind letter drawing my attention to the importance of requesting the Government to set apart a suitable and sufficient area of land in the King Country as an endowment to provide for the maintenance of an Agricultural College at Ruakura. I need scarcely say that the proposal has ray heartiest support, and I will gladly do ray utmost to assist the laudable object yourself and others have in view, and which I am convinced will commend itself to all interested in the promotion of agricultural education. I will make the necessary representations to the Government and do all I can to secure an endowment for the purpose mentioned. "With kindest regards.— Yours very sincerely. H. J. GREENSLADE.
