Roosevelt as Explorer.

RECTIFYING GEOGRAPHERS' MISTAKES. Received 9.20 p.m., 27th. Washington, May 26. The map makers of the world are wrong in Mr Roosevelt's opinion. In an address yesterday to the National Geographical Society describing the discovery of a new river 1000 miles long in Brazil, he challenged all the scientists to prove him wrong as he was prepared to show them exactly where the river actually ran. Mr Roosevelt named the river Duvida. He was loudly applauded and acclaimed as a notable American explorer.
