m RELEASED FOR LACK OF EVIDENCE. Paris, May 27. The manager of an engineering factory disappeared from Brest in January. A month latei v the brother received a letter to the effect that a tall, bearded man had murdered the missing man and hidden the body. A search was made and the body was found. Pierre, the dead man's partner, was arrested, but he has now been provisionally released owing to lack of evidence.
