FIRE

Just as we went to press yesterday the firebell rang out an alarm, the locale of the fire being the laundry of Mr J. Monro, in Hood street. The fire appeared to have a good hold, but as the brigade turned out promptly, the flames were quickly stayed and very lit.De damage was done.
