The Farmerß’ Auctioneering Company reports HAMILTON. At Hamilton on Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday, sth 6th, and 7th, inet, we held our annual November horse sale, when over 600 horses were offered. Good competition.'continued throughout, and for the better class of horses was particularly keen. The following prices were realised: -—Light horses, unbroken, £5 to £l6; spring cart horses, unbroken, £ls to £2O 10s; light draught horses, broken, £l6 to £2B; medium draughts, £25 to £43. Heavy draughts—there was great demand for this class and a fair number were offering. These sold readily from £44 to £SO. Hacks and light harness horses. There was a gooa demand for these horses and the majority sold well. The better class of hacks brought from £l6 to £27 10s, ponies and ordinary horses from £2 to £lO, harness, waggons, and buggies sold at usual prices, CLEARING BALE. On Friday'last >e held a clearing sale on account of Messrs Haycock and Marshall, of Tuhikararaea There was a good attendance and competition was brisk throughout. The dairy cows were a choice let and made from £8 15s to £l6, the herd of 34 averaging £ll Bs, Shorthorn bull, £l2 12s; steer calves, 14s; heifer calves, 17s; 2 yearlings, £3.
