PRIME MINISTER IN HAMILTON
VISIT TO THE SHOW
Hon. W. F. Massey, Prime Minister, arrived in Hamilton yesterday by the Rotorua express, accompanied by Messrs R. P. Bollard, member for Raglan; Satham, member for Dunedin Central, and A. S. Thompson, private secretary. The party were met at the station by the president and the members of the Waikato A. and P. Association and taken by motor car to the showgrounds. As he entered the grandstand enclosure Mr Massey was loudly cheered. In conversation with an Argus repreientative Mr Massey said that the country through which he had passed was looking very well. He was much impressed by the show and by the possibilities of the district generally. Mr Massey spent a considerable portion of the afternoon walking round the ground renewing old acquaintanceships. He also paid a visit to the Hamilton howling green. The Ministerial party left again by the five o’clock train for Auckland.
