*On Saturday, 17th inst., the Farmers’ Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd., will, hold a clearing sale on behalf of Mr Moses McNickle, at his residence, near Claudelands, and just past the Showgrounds. Hukanui road. Full particulars will be found in the company’s advertisement.

The planting season is now on, and the public are invited to visit Messrs Pethbyridge and Fow’s sale on Saturday next, when they will sell on behalf of Messrs Forrest and Best, of Hamilton, a host of ornamental trees , and shrubs, hedge plants and fruit trees. A great advantage lies inthe fact that these trees are acclimatised and thus no time is lost in bearing u nd growth.

The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., will hold their usual sale at Te Awamutu on Saturday next, when they will offer a large yarding of cattle. The entry includes 3 year old steers, nearly beef, 2 to 2* year old steers in forward condition, fat cattle, 18 montht steers, and a number of well grown calves. Fifty facres of freehold on the Te Awamutu town boundary, with four-roomed house and scullery, will also be offered, also on account of Mr H. D. Wright, who is leaving the district, 21 choice dairy cows, due August and September.
