A meeting of the executive of the above was held in the boatshed on Thursday evening'. Present: Messrs Hetherington in the chair, Morris, Kay, Wallace, Fuller, Thorpe, Graves, Paterson, Lynch and Itathborne, secretary. A large budget of correspondence was dealt with. The Auckland Rowing Association wrote suggesting several alterations to the programme.—lt was resolved that the pair oar be a junior event, and the distance for the single sculls, double sculls and pair oar was made one mile. Am numerous applications for apace for side shows are corning in a ground committee consisting of Messrs Morris, Graves and the secretary was constituted to deal with them. Mr Morris gave notice of motion “That in future no auctioneers be allowed on the grounds.” The secretary was instructed to order 20,000 printed envelopes and have them distributed.
