Fire at Cambridge.

Yesterday afternoon a five roomed house, in Taylor street, Cambridge, was totally destroyed by fire. It was the property of Mrs George McCann, and in about 15 minutes it was comp'etcly dcmolishasO. Mrs McCarn was boiling some oil and other things to make a solution to put upon oilskin coats, and had left the house for a few moments to do something 111 the garden, when the place suddenly burst into flames. It is presumed the oil boiled over and ignited the woodwork. The house was insured in the South British office for .-£l4O, and the furniture in the National. The fire occurred about 4 p.m. All that was saved was a sewing machine and a few articles of bedding.
