"The Pirates of Penzance."

Hamiltonians will be pleased to hear that the Paeroa Amateur Opera Society have decided to produce Sir Arthur Sullivan's comic opera "The Pirates of Penzance" here on Friday night next. The piece has already been performed at Paeroa and Waihi to overflowing houses, and we feel sure that a real treat and a real surprise awaits patrons. Some 60 people are engaged, the principal characters are all in capable hands, and special scenery and dresses have been obtained. We trust the venture will receive the hearty support of the Hamilton public, as it is not often that an opportunity of hearing a work of this nature presents itself in Waikato.
