MATAMATA v. MORRINSVILLE. On Thursday a team from the Matamata club journeyed to Morrinsville by train to play the first match of the season. The team was entertained by the home team to dinner at noon, and the match started punctually at PA 30. The game resulted in a win for Matamata by 48 runs on the first innings, time not permitting of the completion of the second innings.
