The committee asserts that 7700 Japanese, 1900 Hindus, and 300 Chinese, have arrived in British Columbia during this year. London, October 28. The Times’ Vancouver correspondent says that the Hindus there are being treated with shocking injustice. FEELING IN JAPAN. Tokio, October 28. While Japan is pleased at the attitude of the Canadian authorities regarding the anti-Japanese outrages at Vancouver, the proposed convention restricting the movements of Japanese labourers is strongly opposed, as is considered to be an invidious discrimination, and also unnecessary, since the iuflow of labourers to Canada has ceased.
