THE AUSTRALIAN ELEVEN. SECOND TEST MATCH. (Received June 16, 1.21 p.m.) London, June 15. When stumps were drawn for the day the English Eleven had lost eight wickets for 253 runs. The weather was threatening and the wicket slow. Tyldesley batted lij hours and Fry 3.) hours. The only chance given by the former was fatal to him.
Fry gave a hard chance to McLeod when he was 46, but the latter bruised his wrist and had to leave the field for a time, resuming just before the end of the day.
