IMPORTANT SALE AT MORRINSVILLE.
On Wednesday next the two wellknown Icoal auctioneering firms (Messrs McNicol and Co., and the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company), wilt hold an important sale of cattle and sheep at Morrinsville, on account of the Assets Realisation Board. The s.le has been attracting a great deal of attention from both local and outside buyers, and it is anticipated that there will be a large gathering of breeders from all parts of the province. The cattle are mostly Herefords and comprise some 1400 head. They are all of exceptionally good quality apd inclnde fat and forward conditioned empty cows and heifers, breeding cows, store heifers and a nice lot of steers from one to three years old. The sheep which will be sold in lots to suit purohaeers comprise 7300 first class animals, of which 6000 are well-woolled and fat and forward wethers, and 1300 choice empty ewes. The auctioneers will start operations at 12 30 p.m. This will enable visitors from North and Soutc to arrive by train on the morning of the sale, and have a little time to look around before commencing business.
