TE AWAMUTU SALE The New Zealand Loam and Mercantile Agency Co- (Ltd) report:— Ac our monthly Te Awamutu sale on Saturday we had a full yarding of cattle, mostly young stock. Bidding was firm throughout the sale, every lot being disposed of by auction, btrone calves, mixed sexes, made from £1 17s to £2 3s ; steer calves, £2 4s 6d ; younger sorts, £1 2s to £1 13s ; 18-month steers, £3 5s to £3 lis ; fresh-conditioned cows, £3 10s to £4 15s; IS-month heifers, £3 10s; fat heifers. £5 12s 6d ; several useful cobs and riding hacks fetched Irom £3 15s to £7 ; a lot of furniture and implements on account of Mr Jordan realised good prices ; a large entry of pigs, prices nasier, best weaners sold at from lis 6d to 16a; turkeys, poultry and produce were disposed of at good figures.
