I believe more interest will be taken ia the meetings and actions of the present Council than has been the case lor some time past. 1 would like to be allowed to make a tiugaestion to our new Council tor their consideration or otherwise at their meeting this evenin?—That they appoint a Committee ut their meetiug to-night to consider the following: Is there any way in which the Council can improve the Buroniih in particular and the Waikatu in general, and who will be open to receive information and succations and make their report to the Council at its next meeting 'i— l am, etc., Cjiisfa.
