This was dis-cus-ed aud amended, the result being as follows : Tenders to be oalle ', to be returnable by the next meeting, for a con creto culvert to rpplace Morrison's Bridge.—The sum of £l2 10s to be expended on the cutting at the hill on Slscves' road if Mr Skewes will contribute £2 10s.—Moffat's Road : Some eight chains ot side cutting and formation to be done, also a set. of pipes to be put in, if Mr Moffut will coutribute a quarter of the c;st of earthwork.— VVhatawhita post-office road to be sanded,—Valley Road : About 20 chaius ef formation and 250 yards of earth cutting with side curing to be done.— Laxon and Roth well's Road : To be reformed at the worst places —Rotokauri Road : About 35 chains of formation, earth-cutting aud sanding to be done.— The Chairman brought up the necessity for strengthening Jones' bridge, but Mr Fulb-rton advised no expenditure on this work beyond a few deck planks until the Board were prepared to replace the bridge with a concrete culvert.—Pukete Road : About 10 chaius of foiniation, also Binding the cuttings and portions of the Swamp Road, is necessary.—Mr Nicholson was authorised to have some sanding done at.
