MATCH AGAINST LANCASHIRE. London, August 28. The match against Lancashire began today. The weather was riue, but the wicket utter a little play, proved a little soft. The Australians batted first, and were ."ill disposed of for 13S. When the stumps were drawn Lancashire had lost two wickets for 61. Play was stopped for au hour during the afternoon through the rain.
