A GRUESOME FIND.
(BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS association) Hokitika, Last Night. At dusk last night a man was walking along the South B"ach, four miles from here, when he found the body of an elderly man in the surf. The figure was pa.'tly dressed, but the face was disfigured. Later. The body found is believed to be that of John Grey, an old man working below Mikonui, South Ros.s, who is now reporttdas missinc: since Sunday. It is supposed he waa drowned while crossing the river on foct. The stream has been in slight flood.
