UNVEILING OF A MONUMENT. (BY TELEOKAPH—VHESS ASSOCIATION). Napier, This Day. Til EKE was an imposiug ceremony at the unveiling of the monument erected to the memory of the ten men who lost their lives in an attempt to save others at the Easter floods of 1897. The mouumeut is 50 feet high, aud occupies a prominent position.
