THE INDIAN FAMINE.
(BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Auckland, Last Night. Mr G. Fowlds, M.H.R., of the Indian Famine Fund in connection with the Counsel of Churches, has received a cable from Calcutta stating: “ Executive Committee send their heartiest thanks to the Auckland Churches for their generous contribution to the Famine Fund.”
