WAIKATO FARMERS' CLUB.

Thk monthly meeting of the Club was held at Cambridge on Monday lust, but the attendance was somewhat meagre. There ware present: Mosrs E. Allen (Presiduit), J. Anderson, J. Fisher, H. Gillett. A. W. Gane, G. E. Clark, Mat son, Bulter, Smith and Hartly. Stallion Parade. The President announced that arrangements had been made to hold the parade of entries in the small paddock adjoining Messrs McNicol and Co.'s sale yards. Only nine were entered ho it would be large enough.

* Me E. Reynolds Talk.-The President apologised for the absence of Mr R. Reynolds, who had been called away and could not therefore continue his " talk " on farming in England versus that in the colony. Election of Vice-Presidents.—Mr N. I. Hunt having resigned the office of ViceE'resident of the Club, it was unanimously resolved to elect Mr W. G. Park of Roto o-rangi to fill the position ; and Mr VVm, Johns, of Te Awamutu was also elected Vice-President for the Ohaupo district. Suoak bekt.—The President stated that the guarantors under the old sugar-beet proposals had each teceivedan agreement to sij:n, binding themselves to work in the interesc of Mr Leweubsrg. He said he had no intention of signing any such document.

Co-operation. —Mr S. Brown, of Clovedon then addressed the Club on Cooperation, as it is to be carried out by some of the farmers in the neighbourhood of Auckland. He distributed a number of pamphlets relating to the matter. This terminated the business.
