WELLINGTON NEWS.
(BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION). Wellington, Last Night. The police have been warned that there are three escapees on board the steamer Rippiughaiii Grange, which left New Caledonia on Thursday and calls here to-day for coal. The Government has decided to supply gratis a copy of the New Zealand Justice of the Peace Handbook, prepared by Mr Haselden, S M., to any J.P. who makes application for it.
