CABLE SUMMARY.
The body of Columbus was exhumed at Havanna in the preseuce of General Blanco. It is proposed shortly to establish telegraphic money orders between England and the colonies. The latest bulletin says that a change for the worse has taken place in the condition of the Queen of Denmark, and the Royal Family is assembled at Castle Bernestorff. The Lord Mayor's fund in aid of the sufferers by the West India hurricane has reached £14,000. Victoria has been allotted 25,000 ft. of space in a central position at the Greater Britain Exhibition. '1 he Infanta. Maria* Theresa, one of Admiral 'Jervera's ciuisers driven ashore dining the engagement off Santiago, has been refloated. At a gathering of members of the Dock and Wharf Labourers' Union to welcome Mr Ben Tillet on his return from Australasia Mr Collins, of the Wellington Trades' Council, declared that if the dockers would reorganise for a fresh strike New Zealand would assist.
