A FORTUNATE DROP.
At great fires many valuable lives have beeu saved by paople jumping or dropping into blankets stretched ready to receive them by willing hands. Not only at fires has a drop or fall been the mean* of saving life ; Mrs Boyes, of 162 Dowl-ing-atreet, Sydney, can vouch for that. She is ever ready to speak of her escape, which was brought about by an accident. In talking tn our reporter, she said: " I might have been suffering still if I hadn't had the good fortune to drop on a paragrapli in the papers describing a cure of indigestion—with which I myself was afflicted for fifteen years—by Dr. Williams' Pink Pills for Pale People. Though I always had indigestion with me, it came on much more violently at times than was usual. The attacks were at first comparatively light, but as years went on they became more and more severe. They commenced with a feeling of sickness and a disinclination to eat, and when I did manage to eat some light food it would lie on my chest in a heavy immovable lump. The sensation was most oppressive and distressing, and sometimes 1 was in such pain that I could hardly sleep, and often I would wake up in the night with a start and not get any more sleep till the morning, and when I did get out of bed 1 would feel depressed in spirits and quite overcome by a feeling of lassitude and weariness. I had violent headaches and a most awkward giddiness when I got up suddenly from a sitting posture ; I also suffered from a continual bad breath and an unpleasant taste in the mouth. I also had bad bilious turns. I was not as you see me now, but was much thinner, with a pale, unhealthy complexion. During all these long years, in addition to the attention of doctors, I tried a large number of other remedies, but none of them did me an atom of good. At length I tried Dr. Williams' Pink Pills. The effect was astonishing ; after taking them for only a short time the attack I was then suffering from was completely got rid of. 1 had a sound healthy appetite, which I hadn't had for years, and my sleep was no longer disturbed. 1 took altogether about twelve boxes, and the Pills completely cured me of both my indigestion and biliousness." A remarkable efficacy in curiug diseases arising from an impoverished condition of the blood or an impairment of the nervous system, such as rheumatism, neuralgia, partial paralysis, locomotor ataxia, St. Vitus dance, nervous headache, nervous prostration, and the tired feeling therefrom, the after effects of la grippe, influenza, dengue fever, and severe colds, diseases depending on humours in the bloood, such as scrofula, chronic erysipelas, etc., is possessed by Dr. Williams' Pink Pills for Pale People, which give a healthy glow to pale and- sallow complexions. They are a specific for the troubles peculiar to the lemale system, and iu the case of men they effect a radical cure in all cases arising from mental worry, over-work, and excesses of any nature. A trial of this remedy will convince the most sceptical. The genuine Dr. Williams'Pink Pills are sold only in wooden boxes, about two inches in length, each of which is encircled by a blue warning label. The outside wrapper has the full name, Dr. Williams' Pink Pills for Pale People, printed in red. In case of doubt it is better to send direct to the Dr. Williams' Medicine Company, Wellington, K.Z-, enclosing the price, three
hillings a box, or six boxes for sixteen and sixpence. Thcs-' pills are not a purgative, and they contain nothing that coidd injure the most delicate.
