LODGE-BETA MASONIC BALL.

The annual ball with which tho members of Lodge Beta celebrate the installation of their Master, has become one of the institutions of Hamilton, which few ladies or dancing men would like to miss, The reason of the popularity of these dances is not far to seek for thanks to efficient organisation all those who accept the committee's invitation are assured a capital floor, good music, and a well lit handsomely decorated hall ; whilst for those who seek more material entertainment, the fact that a Ladies' Committee has undertaken the supervision of the supper, is a guarantee that nothing will be wanting in that respect. As already intimated, it is expected that the number of visitors from Auckland and out-districts this year will be more numerous than on previous occasions, a fact that will doubtlessly add to the enjoyment of the ball. We have been, requested to point out that it will facilitate the work of the Executive Committee if visitors will kindly bear in mind that all tickets must be purchased from the Secretary or Committee before the ball, as payment cannot bo taken at the door ; ulso as the officers have to be in attendance at the Lodge, the hall cannot be opened till the hour named in the invitations, 9 o'clock.
