Wellington, April 6. —V\ eathcr forecast for 24 hours from 9 a.m. this day Wind : Between north-east and west at all places north of Tiinaru and Queenstown, and between north and west and south-west at all other places. Barometer: Fall everywhere soon. Sea heavy on all western coast, and on east coast north of East Cape and southward of Napier. Tides high on all western coast and also on eastern coast, except between Napier and East Cape. Northerly gales with rain arc to be expected soon at all places northward of Tiinaru and Queenstown, and west gales with rain thence southward.
